About to order ibook in next 30mins.

Im about to buy and ibook from the apple store with the 12" screen.

I'd like to hear what you all think of it?

........ I wonder..... how much RAM should I get,

Would 512 be plenty for photoshop and dreamweaver and all that?

Im interested in Hearing what you all have to say.

Im glad to say goodbye to windows!!!

Also waiting for my 4g iPod to be delivered.

What is the delivery time like from the apple store...

I have a 12" iBook and its amazing. Screen is fantastic. I wish I'd upped my ram to 512. It sometimes feels sluggish. However 512 it should be fine for what you want.

It'll be the best move you've ever made. I made the move in November, and I've never looked back (infact I've just sold my pc and have an iMac on order

)

Bluetooth
60GB hard drive
738mb ram!

Rock on!!!

I cant wait to get it!!!

What software should I get??

The first program you should get is Cocktial. It is a system maintenance app and IMO it's a must. Also, head over to versiontracker.com and browse around a bit. They have a bunch of usefull freeware programs and shareware versions of programs (sucsh as cocktail) that you can try before you buy.

I suggest Macaroni...Automatically(You install it and NEVER have to deal with it again) takes care of all required maintenance...It's knowing your car is automatically washed every day, although you didn't see it, you know it happened because it shiny.

lol..weird analogy....
