I am looking for a utility to resize images from my digital camera. I don't see a utility built into OS X that will do this for me. Any suggestions on a good utility for this....free if possible.

Pretty much any image editing app. GraphicConverter comes to mind. For free, try Gimp. Requires X11.

There are sample applescripts on the apple homepage that allow you to rotate and scale images directly from the finder...

Does iLife come with new Apple systems? I did a system reinstall, and maybe I didn't reinstall it. I know I got coupons for the iLife updates...maybe I do have it and just don't know it. I'll have to check when I get home later.

You can resize in iPhoto from iLife '04, simply by exportin the picture to another location, and changing the sizes in the export menu.
