I have a question I understand that Apple run scripts at 3am (I found this information on a few other forums.) The last time my scripts ran was Nov 4. What I want to know is what are scripts? And can I run them whenever I want.
Also, I feel my MacBook is slowing down and is there anything I can do to clean up all the junk files I have? I would really appreciate some information. Thank You

Scripts are basically maintenance programmes that your Mac runs to keep itself running smoothly.
Download Onyx, this can run scripts manually, repair disk permissions, clear up log files and caches etc. It is free too!
OnyX 1.9.9 software download - Mac OS X - VersionTracker
