iMac speaker trouble!

hey everyone, recently my 24inch iMac has been making a crackeling noise so to say, when ever i get an msn notification or load a webpage i get this static noise.

ive done some googeling and ive read that its a faulty connection.

can anyone please help me? could i have caused the problem?

If you have AppleCare, bring it to the store or call in advance and tell them. They'll replace it.

Hi Nacho - just a guess, but have you been playing tunes at a louder volume or something with a lot of bass? Might have a negative affect. Anyway, I agree with Andy - I'd get in touch with Apple. HTH
