Hi! I've ordered a new macbook so I'm preparing for the switch! The last thing I need is a free multilingual (at least french, english and german) dictionary but I want to be able to use it when not connected to the internet. I read that Leopard already has an integrated dictionary but how good is it?
Many thanks! |

Don't know of any free multilingual dictionaries but here's one for $15.00:
Download TranslateIt! - Multilingual Dictionary for Mac OS X 9.7 [build 9704] Free Trial - TranslateIt! - multilingual dictionary. Says it's for OS X 9.7 but should work for Leopard. You can try before you buy since it's shareware. The Leopard built in dictionary - thesaurus works fine. You can add words to it and also use it when responding to messages such as this forum. Regards. |

OS X itself has a multi-lingual dictionary, just not simultaneously.
![]() Each time you change the language you are using (very easy to do using a menu item), the dictionary will change with it. |
