I am new Linux convert to mac and liking it so far.

Whats the basic and free remote desktop client in max to connect to my work linux/windwos desktop ?

Mac Specs: MacBook Pro 2.4 Ghz 2GB Ram 200GB Hard drive, Mac Mini 1.5 Intel Core Solo 512Mb Ram
here is another solution using mac os x's built-in screen sharing app

Mac Specs: White 2009 MacBook 2 Ghz | 733 Mhz G4 Quicksilver
Assuming you are running a VNC server on that work windows / Linux machine

Then Chicken of the VNC would be a good mac VNC client

I use logmein.com it works across my pcs aswell
