How do I go about it? I figured out how to change even the Finder icon and I can't figure out how to change the system prefs one. I have both a .png and .icn file.
Sorry if this has been asked, I searched but I couldn't find anything.
Thank you.

Well, go to System Preferences in Applications and hit Get Info. Get Info on the file with the icon you want. Click on the icon in the top left and press Command+C, the click the same in the System Preferences window and press Command+V.
