Does Windows via bootcamp need defragging?

I am using Windows XP via bootcamp. I assume so, but, do I have to defrag the HDD even though I do not have to on OSX?

I am using Diskeeper Pro to defrag, is that safe on bootcamp? Also running it I did find out I needed to defrag because it said I had 1.15 on average fragments per file.

Windows via Boot Camp is just like Windows anywhere else. Whatever you did or had to do on Windows before, you do it again on your Mac. So if you defragged, ran spyware scans, cleaned out the registry, and had an antivirus, then do that again with Windows via Boot Camp.

Thats just what I thought. Best to have a second opinion though, just to be safe.

Thanks!
