I hope someone can help me. I was trying to share my computer with someone else's, to try and achieve this I was in the Sharing section of System Preferences, what I did was delete my own public folder from the folders list and add my own HD (obviously and stupidly I didn't know what I was doing). Since then my HD seems to have disappeared and none of my applications work, I can't even close it down. What has happened? Can anyone help?
QUOTE Thanks

I have since disconnected the power to shut the computer down and restarted it, on doing this the computer restarts but I am confronted with nothing but a blank blue screen and the mouse (which I can move) but nothing else shows up. I can access the hard drive through target mode so I don't think the HD is damaged, I just can't get to it. Any suggestions?
QUOTE Thanks
