Hello.
I've battling the PC beast for years and finally had enough. I have used a mac in the past but not to any great extent.
I'm now the proud owner of a 13" macbook black with 2.4 duo 4gb ram and 250gb hd.
Only had it for three days but I am the happiest I've ever been in front of a keyboard.

Not just the speed but ease of use. I watched one vid on the apple website and am now completely comfortable with the OS layout. Command Q has become my best friend.

Seastud, congratulations. I got my MB this past Sunday and I wonder why I waited so long. This is a great place to learn more about your new MB.

Congrats. I absolutely love my blackbook and have been happy ever since I made the switch.

Welcome!! You know, I recently bought a MacBook 2.1 GHz, and I absolutely LOVE it. My friend told me something before I bought it: "You don't work on a Mac, you work with it."

I dont know where he got that from, but I realized what he meant. i work with my MB everyday, and glad because of it.

Thanks for the welcome.
I think the biggest thing to get used to is that I've yet to have to install a driver/patch/fix just to get it to boot up and recognize the rest of my stuff. And having a spell checker that is seamless throughout the OS is awesome.

Congrats. I'm a new Mac owner myself. Now, after watching me have so much fun over the last couple of weeks, my wife wants one too, lol.
