Hi Mac Users

I am trying to run an executable file, i.e. a file ending with .exe
Do you require a special program to run them on macs, cause it works fine on a windows pc
Please help! Thanks

A .exe is a Windows program... a program coded for Windows can't run on a Mac you have to get the Mac equivalent.

Use the Rep System!!

just get WINE, it will let you run most Windows programs on a Mac without installing Windows.

be warned though, even though WINE works, it won't work for every Windows program.

It's because Windows is number one oh yeah!!!

Like everyone else said, the reason it runs so well on a PC is because .exe is a Windows file.

What is the .exe file you're trying to run? There may be a native Mac OS X alternative for this application.
