password reset?

I bought a used mac book pro and want to reinstall the osx and i dont know the password.

Anyway to to reset it so i can reformat the drive and reinstall osx? I can just ask the person i bought it from tomorrow but was wanting to play with it tonight.

Mac Specs: Black Macbook C2D 2GHz 3GB RAM 250GB HD iPhone 4 iPad 3G

You don't need the password, just throw in the discs and hold "C" while it's booting. You'll go straight to the OS X installer. Do an Erase & Install and you're good to go.

You can also changer the master password once you've gotten to the osx installer.
