Mac Specs: 2.16GHz C2D MacBook w/ 2GB RAM & 120GB HD. HTC G1 on AT&T.
The advertisements are not really that bad for me to use a different skin.
iPhone skin is for a basic way to access the forums from a mobile device. It isn't supposed to have all the features of the full skin.

So the ad free skin is gone and won't come back?
That would be bitter.

Ya that would make me sad ! The addfree loads so much nicer on the iPhone and still has the features. It's a nice in between the reg and iPhone skin.

I never said it will not come back
The ad-free skin is part of the Membership package. I am pretty sure they will add the ad-free skin back it may just be a matter of time.
I'm not part of the website operation or anything like that but it just makes sense for them to add it back.

There were some issues left over from the forum upgrade to a newer version of the software, have no fear, we'll get them fixed as soon as possible.
If you notice any other issues, be sure to post them here.

Do you have to upgrade your membership to be able to choose from different skins or something? I'm not seeing anything like that under my profile options.

Yes, if you upgrade your membership you'll get a larger PM inbox, an ad free skin, access to the Premier Members Lounge....pretty cool
