one of the best forum sites

With experience here and experience at other forums (and due to some recent events), I have pretty much concluded that Mac-Forums is the most proper forum I have been a part of. There is no comparison to the mods, the ones at Mac-Forums are the only moderators that actually.. well, moderate. The members are also great. There are lots of you guys here to help, unlike the other forums I have been to where you won't even get a reply more than half the time.

As I mentioned, some recent events have made me fed up with poorly run sites, and coming back here made me see how well this place is run, and how much friendlier of an environment it is.

glad I found this place, all I have to say. Thanks guys/gals

Thanks for the compliment

Yes, these forums are very well run and its thanks to all the members that actively take a part for that.

But the moderators are crucial, they keep the site orderly, clean and helpful. Its great to find a really helpful site where users are rewarded for being good and the bad side of the internet is kept out.

Long may MacForums continue

I have to agree with cuhnool on this.

Sometimes it takes a little longer for some things to happen, but it's an international forum.

People are active while others are asleep.

Overall... I love it here!!

Definitely the most "Useful" forum I am a member of.
Weirdly I started here looking for help once and ended up finding I knew enough to help more!

Great job indeed to the mods! I used to visit forums where the moderators did too much, but this is a happy medium. This is a great community!

I also am proud to be a member here. I too came here as a Mac nOoB and was pleased to find such a friendly and helpfull group. The fun part is using the things you have learned here and helping others with that knoweledge.

Exactly, I think I joined here shortly after I bought my MacBook, and it was because my AIM buddy list on ichat wouldn't show up, so I asked here! I shortly figured my problem though. I think I replied to it with my soultion. Don't remember.

This is the only mac forum I visit with regular frequency.

I joined a long time ago but I only really started contributing this summer and now I'm hooked!

Well moderated and classy members.
