Games should have its own category :)

Games and applications are totally different... You have to go through a bunch of pages, just to find a gaming thread lol.

Gamers in my opinion are specifically looking for games, and not misc app discussions lol.

Mac Specs: 2.16GHz C2D MacBook w/ 2GB RAM & 120GB HD. HTC G1 on AT&T.
Gaming does not get a lot of discussion on this message board (from what i have seen) and does not need a whole new category (in my opinion). If it does get one it will most likely be empty.

However I am not staff and this is just an opinion from a regular member.

true, but having to search multiple pages to find one gaming thread, doesn't promote the discussion of gaming either

First, you don't have to literally and physically search through multiple pages, that is what the search feature is for.
Type in your key words and you're off.

Second, this is a forum about Apple products (hardware and software), their users and lifestyles.
This discussion board is all-encompassing and we are not out to 'promote' any one, singular small aspect of the Apple experience.

If, in the future, gaming on Macs increases significantly then we can look into broadening its presence here.
Until then, there is already a forum for games so a new one doesn't need to be created.
