Give this a read:

Mac-Forums.com - Announcements in Forum : Buy/Sell/Trade

At the bottom it says..."Note: Only users with enough posts and an adequate period of time as a member here are able to post in this forum."

This may be similar to the "reputation system" in that you must have 10 posts and 10 reputation points before being able to do this activity.

Maybe one of the moderators (or any member that knows the policy) will be able to verify.

Does it not amaze anyone else that Mac-Forums.com - Announcements in Forum : Buy/Sell/Trade is one of the first things you see and yet no one bothers to read it?

Well read the thread posted above and find out why you can't post there.

No one wants to purchase stuff from a person who has no established reputation on the message boards. I never really understood why people sign up just to sale stuff here.

I know, right? I know there's a sucker born every minute, but what kind of moron buys a high ticket priced item on a community forum from someone who is not an established member of that community?
