I would say I use my phone similarly to what your describing, some calls during the day, texting, some light internet browsing, and I have never had any issues with getting up at 7am and plugging it...

Tried that, still being slow, It took about 15-20 seconds to open CNN mobile website which I don't regularly visit, but I think it's pretty quick, especially on full 3G service

Thanks for the advice. All my other passwords are pretty complex, but I just was neglecting that one because I never use it (I know not a good excuse) but now I learned, at least eBay caught it...

It's not really an issue of power or anything, I just simply enjoy the convenience and "feel" of a desktop computer. It's nicer for me to type on a desktop, be able to lean back in my computer chair...
