These things rock, as long as you don't have to print to a Windows shared printer on a PC running XP. I have had my MBP for several months now, and I am still e-mailing stuff to my PC so I can print...

HUGE variations in thickness!

I completely dis-assembled my MBP, and used a micrometer to measure the thickness of the metal skin.

I can't believe this, but there is more than .000112" difference between the thinnest places...

Are you running 802.11b or 802.11g on your wireless LAN/router?
b will never give you more than 6Mb, and even that is optimistic. g will go much higher if the signal is clean.
