Hi everybody,

I have this strange issue. I had some NTSC footage of my own and made two DVDs on Toast 9. I burned DVD 1 ok, but by mistake I burned DVD 2 as a PAL DVD. Both are region free DVDs.

video is a very processor demanding task. I think by playing from the external drive you are demanding a little bit too much on the nice G3 (and of its video card).

Stick with a Sony. Even a cheap HC-26 or 28. Canon and JVC have problems handling low light situations and the picture gets very grainy.
