Have you tried Google Chrome? I used FFox for a long time, but had too many little issues w/ it. GC seems to be more robust, but I am not a "power user". BTW: MY scroll button does the same crap now...

I can now access the Desktop folder, and screen dumps now work as they should. I removed Prefs folder from Library. That trick did not help AppleWorks, though. Well, part way home.... j
