There are ALL KINDS of ways they can track. To start, look up 'targeted advertising'.

For the record, you'll still get the cookies. Just that Cookie will delete all except the ones you tell it to keep.
Like logins and such. Then they wont be there to be read again. And tracked.

Oh, so autocorrect is the same as spellcheck? I have that on but all it does is red-underline misspelled words (at least in Firefox).
It doesn't change anything.

If so it's probably in the desktop cache and probably not recoverable.

Check your Applications folder and/or System Preferences. Probably something like iStat or similar.
