Why not just build the animation stuff with...

Why not just build the animation stuff with javascript like Raphael.js or something that is a lot less taxing on the system. you can do some really cool stuff with JS.

Sounds more like you need to use something like Ruby on Rails framework.....It would probably be a bit easier IMO

Whats wrong with your disc drive? I thought mine was not working either, and after some reading and such I blew some compressed air into and it works like new now!

when you say ball park what is the number? My experience is the autofocus on a canon is not as reliable as Nikon and i own both..just really depends on what you are using it for.......just my .02
