Mid 2009 MBP temperature/heat

I'm just running Firefox, and I get temps of 60 Fan loat-70 c with the fan often running noisy. Fan speed often runs above 3000 rpm with just the browser running. Is this normal?

Transfer/copy files to 2011 MBA from MBP?

Like a newbie question, but how is it done? How do you install iWorks on an MBA? I'm assuming through a back up drive, or a usb stick, but I'm not sure of the most efficient method. Thanks.
