Recording music from a DVD movie

Hi. I think I know the answer to this but I'd like to be sure.

PDF links, downloaded instead of opened

Hi...

When I click on a PDF link on a webpage I get prompted to either open in Preview (default) or save to disk. But even when I choose open in Preview the PDF is still downloaded first.

Video podcasts on Front Row

Hi...still sorta new to macs.

Can I watch video podcasts on Front Row? Right now I just get the audio with a blank white 'video screen'. Works fine in iTunes. iMac with 10.4.9.
