Contacted a friend who works for Apple, and the short answer is that you can not play a DVD from Apple TV. Thought I'd share that in case others have the same question.

As you can see, I apologized for the duplicate, as I couldn't find the original post.

Lisa, the added bonus I found to running this stuff is that it makes your Mac run like glue; especially Norton. It also disables Mac features like AirDrop.

Love that "be prepared and be paranoid" statement - that's me! I'm looking at CCC, but wondering if I need a separate external hard drive for it, or can I use the one I'm using for Time Machine?

I'd definitely buy at the Apple Store - unmatched service and honest help. Best Buy is not known for customer service.

Try out the MBA and the Pro and decide which is more comfortable for you. I...

Guess I'm old school too. My trouble-shooting skills aren't good enough to solve any glitches quickly enough.

I always wait for .1 release, but this is really tempting me. Just spent an hour using it at Apple Store, and it was great. Of course, I was using an MBA a year younger than mine. Wondering if it's...

Get Mavericks?

iMac still on Mountain Lion, and I'd like to go to Mavericks, not Yosemite (until all bugs get worked out). Is there any place to still get Mavericks for free? I have Mavericks on my MacAir.

Thanks RadDave. No Camera Roll? I'm sticking with 7! How is it that Apple never mentions what they've removed when there's an update - just extols the new features.
