Presonus and M-Audio both make 8 XLR/Line in...

Presonus and M-Audio both make 8 XLR/Line in boxes with Firewire out. They both work with core-audio and any program that uses it. I have had good experiences with the presonus firepod.

Alternately - if you have some $$, get an Airport Express and use airtunes.

I would suggest looking at Yorkville monitors - you wont see their stuff at GC or Sam Ash, but in live sound they have the best quality/price ratio I have found. If you want what you do to sound good...
