You don't have to pay for a newer version of XP, it's possible to slipstream SP2 from what I understand... Google it.

I do nothing but multimedia in OSX and Boot Xp for Unigraphics and Pro/E... (rendering isn't blitzingly superfast, but IMO, it's plenty...

I had some similar problems with the original batch of drivers... with the newer releases; I installed the updated drivers and haven't had any trouble since.
