Any advice for keeping my backup drives in a car trunk?

I want a second place to keep my hard drives that is not my apartment. I'm going to use my car trunk. Any advice? I live in NYC and it gets hot in the summer. Should I put them in a lunch cooler?

Does the Highpoint thunderbolt 2 dock function as a dock and internal drive platform?

My MBP typically runs between 55-65 Celsius. Is this OK?

My MBP typically runs between 55-65 Celsius. Is this OK? I don't know ideal temperatures. I have SMC FanControl to boost the fan. Should I just keep it running constantly for the good of the drive?
