Well taht was interesting. The test is not installed on my iMac, had to use the Disc1 but all seems OK. Since disconnecting an external Hard Drive that was not being used the iMac is as fast as ever....

Have you clicked "Done" once the crop is complete, ie finished the editing process, then double tap the image it should retain the cropping and rejoin the thumbnails.

I encountered problems getting Aperture to talk to my printers. Both worked perfectly with LR. I now use iPhoto for storage and selection, then transfer to LR for my adjustments and printing.
