I noticed that there was a near by wifi on the same channel and I changed the channels and it still lost signal in the garage.

I didnt know about the WPA2 encryption. Thanks!

Thanks for the reply. I like those 2.1 version with the separate subwoofers. Just enough sound to fill the room. That is what I use on my iMac, the Altec Lansing ATP3.

The iMac is more than enough power to run FCP. Additionally, if you opted for the 27" screen, you'll have more display area for your editing. I vote iMac!
