Not really sure but if you contact OWC i'm sure they will tell you.
They have been very helpful to me in the past.
Also, they have a turnkey programme where they will do the work for you.

For Precision work such as Photoshop or drawing then a graphics tablet is needed, not a mouse.

I agree that a mouse is more precise than a trackpad but not enough for anything really precise

Totally agree. I wasn't sure about getting a trackpad but after a few minutes I was very happy.
Hardly ever use a mouse now.

Having used both VirtualBox and VMWare Fusion I would recommend Fusion if you can afford it
VirtualBox is great for free but harder to set up and a bit buggy.
