I'm looking for an alternative to StuffIt because, for me, it sucks.

Is there any Cobol Compiler for Tiger?
I tried Open Cobol but it uses GMP, which, appearently, doesn't work fine in OS X.

Extract subtitles from dvd

I need a tool to extract subtitles from a dvd and save it as SRT, SUB or something similar.

I tried D-Subtitler but it just stays "converting pictures to text...". It either doesn't work or takes...

About the 'how to restore the image' question, I realized I can launch disk utility from the installer and restore my HFS+ partition from there :)
