One neat feature Streamclip has is breaking the .dv conversion into smaller segments.

I use a DVD handycam to capture videos. The cheapest version of which has no connectivity to USB or Firewire. So I convert the .vob files from the disk to DV using MPEG Streamclip to make a disk...
