Yeah the original configuration still works fine. And when I put the 500GB in a USB caddy (what it was originally in) the drive was recognized, so I'm becoming more and more convinced it's the caddy....

If I were to install the WWDC 2007 version of Leopard on my 13" MB, right over my existing Tiger (10.4.10) would I lose all my files, or anything else currently on my Macintosh HD?
