Really depends on how extended. I have had my BlackBook on my lap for about 2-3 hours and haven't had any problems. It gets hot, but I think it's bearable. But that's just me.

I'm actually not sure how easy it is on an iMac. I know with MacBooks, you simply pop out the battery, unscrew the cover, and its right there.

I think there is no such thing as too much RAM in my opinion. I'm running my Blackbook with 4 G RAM and I mainly use Final Cut Studio 2. Runs great, but I still feel there isn't enough.

I agree. It might be possible that they might mention it fairly soon, but Leopard is still pretty comparatively new. I still have friends who are working of Tiger still, alot of people are.
