I have had this problem on occasion, and solved it by changing the screen resolutions, resizing the window, and changing the resolutions back to what they were....

Try this: Go into System Preferences > Displays...

Try this:
Go into System Preferences > Displays
Click on the Detect Displays button

Maybe your resolutions were changed and this will restore the default. Not sure, but worth a try.
