RAM quality can definitely be of different quality from Vendor to Vendor. Having said this, I've never heard of Amacro RAM. BUT, that doesn't necessarily mean it's bad.

I switched and am switching again!

Well last week I took the plunge and purchased a 20" iMac for the kitchen. Been using/working on PC's (mostly Windows, but plenty of Linux) for 20 years.
