Is there any difference in the experience if an app update includes iPhone 5 optimisation when you still have an iPhone 4? Is the answer the same for all apps?

Thanks, but you can actually (or at least in most cases....) connect an external disc to an Airport Extreme and use a FAT32-partition with it.

As regards the AppleTV, I thought you could not...

Yeah, but unfortunately it is the other way around. It is on the powered 3TB disc that the FAT32-partition is not showing up.....

Yeah, that is probably right but it seems a shame to just delete all the good information after less than 6 months. I seem to recall that it stayed up much longer when Leopard was introduced.

Sure you can access files from the iPad as well, but my point was that if you are travelling a lot as I am currently doing, you can just continue to seamlessly deal with stuff as if you were at home...
