Im not sure if it had Hi-def to be honest, mine is one of the older (pre HDMI) premium consoles. I think im using composite cables.

I think im leaning more towards EyeTV than a DVD recorder mainly...

You could use it in a digital camera or anything that takes Compact flash cards as microdrives (as used in the mini) are the same physical size.

Yea i was amazed at how good the wifi is on my macbook. At home on my windows laptop i can only pick up my connection, with my macbook i pick up about 2 other connections aswell.
