But he has the 2002 G4 MDD not the FW800, which was intruduced in January 2003. These models have both a bus speed of 167MHz.

Go for 2GB RAM and 320GB HD. RAM is easy to upgrade if needed. Disk space is always available if you do a backup once you have a enough data together to fill a CD or a DVD.

Be aware that this might not be enough to playback your movie. Region 2 is Europe, which uses a different video broadcast standard (PAL not NTSC). I don't know if your DVD player can handle that.

Yes, I meant the copper heat sink. But his 21GHz G4 MDD and my 1,25GHz G4 MDD have both 167MHz system bus speed. The 867MHz verison had 133MHz.
