I was afraid I'd need to call Apple, as the error is on their end. Sigh. I do use Dropbox and such, but I'm teaching a course, and part of it is using AirDrop.

Now if we could just get rid of that dang pop-up window that asks you to subscribe! Even with AdBlocker and a pop-up blocker that darn window shows up with every single click on this site!

My MBA did something similar right before the logic board died. You might want to make the trip to Apple sooner rather than later. If the logic board goes your computer is not usable.

Contacted a friend who works for Apple, and the short answer is that you can not play a DVD from Apple TV. Thought I'd share that in case others have the same question.

Lisa, the added bonus I found to running this stuff is that it makes your Mac run like glue; especially Norton. It also disables Mac features like AirDrop.

Running Norton is kinda like firing a Sherman tank at a mosquito. Macs are pretty safe, but if you'll sleep better at night with something running, use Avast - it's free and runs lightly.
