Yep, the copy is 100% legal, as far as I am aware. The person I am purchasing it from assures me that he has uninstalled the software from his machines and is giving me the original media.

Just an update - I ordered some more RAM for my iMac on Friday afternoon (2x4Gb 1333MHz DDR3 @ 15 each) and it arrived today. :)
While I had the plastic out, I also ordered APP for iMac....
