I got it to work using a minidisplay port to HDMI adaptor and HDMI cable. Still no answer from Samsung by the way.

Not sure if this is a good or bad thing!

The best and the two used by the pro's are Apple's Aperture and Adobe Lightroom. I use Aperture and think it is great others will swear by Lightroom. Both have trials that you can download and try....

Yes, and there are many express cards out there that offer networking, extra USB ports, esata, serial port, firewire ports etc. Just do a google search.
