The non-retina MBP's HDD can be upgraded easily which is one of the reasons why I chose it over the retina version.

The SSD in the Retina Display MBP will let you load up your OS and apps faster but once they are open and running in the background, the difference in speed probably won't be noticeable :)

Hello there! If I remove the SuperDrive from my mid-2012 MBP 13", should I reattach the 3 screws or am I okay with leaving them off? Do they serve any other purpose other than securing the SuperDrive...
