Also remove batteries and turn upside down and firmly press down on scroll wheel area on a clean piece of blank paper. You'd be surprised what can come out of that mouse.

If it's a Bondi Blue (300MHz or lower) it sounds like the flyback has gone. happened to me 3 years ago, absolutely no point in trying to repair. Cheaper to go fix another for your niece.

iBook G4 - Leopard or stick with Tiger?

Is anyone successfully running 10.5 on a G4 iBook, 1.07GHz model?

It has 768mb of ram and currently runs Tiger, no issues.

Will a Pismo DC Sound Card work as a replacement in a Lombard?

You have a point. It's running 10.4.11 fully updated. I can install 10.5 but I've held off until I get some sort of conclusion somehow. I ran Applejack as well.
