Since you want a portable one the MBP wold be perfect for you since it is much lighter than the MB, plus MBP's design is really cool and its performance is much better than the MB.

I often use the micro-fiber cloth to clean mine, when the dust is quite hard to remove I use wet wipes then use another micro-fiber cloth to wipe it again.

I don't think that 11MBA is ideal for your needs if I were you I would go for a 13 Macbook pro well is just right, although 15 Macbookpro is ideal for editing stuffs since you like a portable one...
