Your best bet is going into you Address Book on you Mac and creating different groups of contacts, then through iTunes you can select which groups to sync with any given device.

I know that iTunes still plays music while on screensaver, I don't know about your DJ software though. But maybe try making one of you hot-corners go to screensaver and then make you laptop...
