Thanks, but Quicktime Pro lets you convert videos too. You can do File/Export/and choose teh format...But still even then I would not know what format would be the best for low memory and fine...

You use iDVD which you should have on your mac and use a DVD-R disc which will make it playble on most other DVD players.

Ouch... A Mac... This would a lot easier to solve if it was a PC to be honest. You could try to go to your display settings, and find a video output section. If that doesn't help, maybe a wire wasn't...
