iMac G5 20" Problem - eBay fix?

As a previous post stated, my iMac is on the fritz. I get the below screen if I try to boot up normally. I can boot into safe mode without any issues.

My iMac G5 20" is on it's last leg. I can still use it in safe mode.

I bought an external hard drive and want to backup my mac so that when I buy a new iMac I'll have all my files and programs.

The screen has multiple color lines and it won't get past the pin wheel screen. The best way to describe it is, it looks snowy like the racing ants you see on cable TV when you do not have the...

Can someone help - what is the best (and cheapest) stuff to buy for wireless Wifi on the above computer?

I'm assuming I have to get a WiFi dongle, as I don't think the older G5's have build in...
