I want to buy an EXTERNAL HD for:

1. Backing up my data (will probably use Time Machine) using Leopard

My new Ipod Nano 4th gen. seems to automatically eject itself on connection to the macbook; is this normal?

2 finger scrolling text is garbled! Faulty?

1st day with my new aluminium macbook ;)

When I 2 finger scroll, the text becomes garbled!
Scrolling via arrow keys is fine.
All s/w is uptodate

I'm tempted to return this - it's unacceptable!

Why is the @ key on the number 2, instead of the normal place?
It's a UK model.
